Analysis of mosquito surveillance in the urban areas of Jilin province, China in 2015

Objective To study the population distribution of mosquitoes and their seasonality in Jilin province and to provide reference for controlling mosquito-borne diseases. Methods From May to October in 2015, light traps were used for mosquito density surveillance in the urban areas of nine cities in Jilin province. Results A total of 13 397 mosquitoes (4 species, 3 genera) were collected, Culex pipiens pallens was the predominant species, accounting for 46.33% of all mosquitoes. The annual average density of mosquitoes was 1.00 mosquito per hour. The seasonality of mosquitoes was unimodal, and the peak occurred in August. Conclusion The population distribution of mosquitoes and their seasonality in the urban areas of Jilin province were well documented in this study. Culex pipiens pallens was the predominant species of mosquitoes in urban, the park, the hospital and rural residential areas. Besides, Aedes vexans was also predominant species in the barns. It is recommended to carry out mosquito control from June to September in Jilin province.

【Abstract】 The rule of rodent control in village is parts of key technical standards regarding public health safety supported by the 11th five?year plan. To determine standard contents based on the reference of relevant standards at home and abroad, and to emphasize the rodent control technology in rural such as the put of baits, the establishment of prevention facilities and the elimination of rodent breeding sites. This article aims to discuss the writing significance, writing principle, working process as well as the problem in writing process.

Surveillance on the cockroach population in Jilin province from 2006 to 2007

【Abstract】 Objective In order to grasp the dynamic regularity of the population distribution and seasonal fluctuation of cockroach in Jilin province. Methods Sticky paper to trap cockroach was used in the surveillance. Results According to the surveillance results, Blattella germanica was the dominant species, accounting for 95%. However, the population density of Periplaneta americana was very low. There were two active peaks in the whole year, one was in March, the other was between July and September. Conclusion B.germanica was the dominant species in Jilin, so it should put the emphasis on its control in the future.

Appraisement of Effect of BACTIVEC and GRISELESF for Killing Mosquito Larvae with the Locale and Laboratory Tests

Objective:To appraise the effect of BACTIVEC and GRISELESF for killing mosquito larvae and study the best way to appraise.Methods:The effect of two biotic pesticides for killing mosquito larvae was tested by the locale and laboratory tests,To observe the mosquito larvae and pupae density degression rate.Results:In the locale,after spraying 3rd days,for BACTIVEC 5 ml/m 2,the density degression rate of the mosquito larvae and pupae was 97.5% and 92.7%.After 5th,7th,and 15th day,the density degression rate was usual kept up over 97%.Another,for GRISELESF,10 ml/m 2,after 3rd day,the density degression rate of mosquito larvae was 96%,and the rate of pupae was only 20%.But 5 to 15 days later,the effect of control pupae by GRISELESF was approached to BACTIVEC.The results of labortory was similar to locale.Conclusion:The effects of both biotic pesticides were noticeable to control the mosquito larvae,and the former outbalanced the latter.
A Study of the Effect Against Mice for Five Mixtures of the Acute Rodenticide and Picricid in Laboratory

Objective:By comparing palatabilites and death rates of five acute rodenticides and mixtures of it and picricid,laboratory basis was provided for using of picricid.Methods:Adopting tests of the choice feeding and the no choice feeding with mice.Results:The feeding indexes of Zinc phosphide,Silatranes,Gophacide,Desmethylbromethalin and Bromethalin were respectively 0.57,only eating a few grains,0.03,0.93,2.1;After adding picricid,the feeding indexes were separately 1.5,only eating a few grains,0.38,0.93and 5.2.The death rates were separately 100%,90%,100%,100% and 100%;After adding picricid the death rates all were 100%.Conclusion:It has satisfactory killing effect against mice that picricid and the five acute rodenticides are mixtured.
Efficacy of 10%FENDONA SC Against Mosquito,Housefly and Cockroach

Objective:To observe the efficacy of 10% FENDONA SC against mosquito,housefly and cockroach.Methods:Force contacting method.Results:The efficacy for the three insects was the best on the glass surfaces.Efficacy on the cement was better than the painted wood.The efficacy for mosquito was the best on the three surfaces.The efficacy for cockroach was better than the housefly.The long-lasting efficacy for mosquito all was over 12 weeks on the three surfaces;The long-lasting efficacy for housefly all were 12 weeks on the glasses,while on the painted wood 10mg/m 2about 7 weeks,20mg/m 2about 8 weeks,30mg/m 2 about 10 weeks,while on the cement 10mg/m 2 about 10 weeks,20mg/m 2and 30mg/m 2 exceeding 12 weeks;The long-lasting efficacy for cockroach exceeded 12 weeks on the glasses,on the painted wood and cement surfaces 10mg/m 2 about 10 weeks,while 20mg/m 2and 30mg/m 2 over 12 weeks.
Comparative Study on the Efficacy of the Three Kinds of Coil to Culex pipiens pallens

In the efficacy test of the three kinds of Coil to Culex pipiens pallens, by the GB13917.4-92 test method in lab, the KT 50 with Pesguard ME Coil, Knockthrin 0.3% Coil and Rongxing Specical Efficacy Coil were 2.30 min, 0.52 min, 3.33 min respectively. The mortalities in 24h were 93%, 99.7%, 97.6%. The bioassay shows that the Knockdown rate was fastest that Knockthrin 0.3% Coil to Culex pipiens pallens.
Efficacy Evaluation of Alfacrnplus 10 WP against Musca domestical

The paper reported the effect of the Alfacrnplus 10 WP against flies with three ways of test. The good efficacy would be obtained to control flies with smear and spray ways. It is very convenient to use with spray. In the 20 square metre room, smear the Alfacrnplus 10 WP on the point of the test and hang up the test strings to control the flies have kept 10 weeks and the death rate dept 94%. It was obviously effect the test to control the flies with hang up the test strings in the room. The Alfacrnplus 10 WP is very good pesticide to flies and would be have good development future.
Observation on the Efficacy of Saga WP against Three Public Health Insects

This paper deals with the contactive effect of Saga wettable powder against 3 public health insects on different surfaces.The experimental results on different surfaces.The experimental results showed that the formulation of Saga WP was highly effective,and that the long residual activity was observed on three kinds of surfaces against the pests mentioned above.The lasting effect of Saga WP were 58 days for the Musca domestica and Culex pipiens pallens.The lasting effect were 36 days for the Blattella germanica.
Efficary Evaluation of 0.8% Racumin Liquid against Rats

The paper reported the effect of 0.8% Racumin liquid against rats.The effect determination came from the laboratory and the field tests.The results for laboratory showed all of the mouse was killed by drinking Racumin liquid in 8 days,and the death peak period was 3~5 days.The other determination showed the death peak period was 4~6 days by drinking Racumin and water.The lowest death drinking amounts of the mouse was 2.6mg of Racumin.In the field tests with the Racumin liquid,the death rate was 94.99% for the Rattus norvegicus.The correct death rate was 95.32%.It is obvious that the Racumin liquid is safe and convenient to use and a good efficacy would be obtained.
A Study on the Measure of Eliminating Rats for Hotel

The paper reprots the technology and measures which eliminates rats in special enviroment as hotel. Cute and chronic rodenticides was used at the same time;Surplus baiting was adopted at a time; All of the place were treated and enough baits were droped in the hotel. We paid attention to environment control, and so on. The elimination rates reached 98.73% and 97.56% in the two hotel.
A Study of the Effect against Rodents for the Acute Rodenticide Dixiuling and it's Picricid Mixture in Laboratory

Dixiuling is an acute rodenticide. The values of acute oral LD 50 of Dixiuling against Mus musculus were 3.97mg/kg(♂) and 3.40mg/kg (♂).The population death rate was 90% with the bait(0.0005% Dixiuling)After adding picricid, the death rate were 100%. The lethal dose was 3.68mg/kg for Dixiuling and the feeding index was 0.40.Retention of urine is a typical symptom of Dixiuling poisoning.
Observation on the Efficacy of RESPONSAR SC against Mosquitoes,Flies and Cockroaches

A series of observation was conducted on the efficacy of Responsar suspension concentration against mosquitoes,flies and cockroaches.The experimental studies showed that the formulation of Responsar was highly effective,and that the long residual activity was observed on three kinds of surfaces against the pests mentioned above,After being treated with the dosage of 12.5mg a.i./m 2 or 25mg a.i./m 2 on three kinds of surfaces,the high mortality was attained in the control of mosquitoes,flies and cockroaches.
The Efficacy Tests of Snip Poison Baits against Flies and Cockroaches

The effect of Snip poison baits against house flies and cockroaches was observed in laboratry. The results showed that the mortality of houseflies which were attracted and killed was 94.7-97 percent,and the mortality of cockroaches which were attracted and killed was 95.7 percent in the trial.The edible ratio of houseflies and cockroaches was 2.6: 1 and 8.9:1( between the poison baits and the feed).
